By accessing and using the Intent app and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Intent is an emotional wellness platform that provides:

• AI-powered emotional diagnosis and insights
• Emotion tracking and pattern recognition
• Connection with certified coaches
• Personalized emotional education content
• Tools for emotional self-reflection and growth

Our services are designed to support emotional wellness but are not a substitute for professional medical or psychological treatment.

As a user of Intent, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Use the service for personal emotional wellness purposes only
• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other users
• Not share your account credentials with others
• Not use the service for any illegal or harmful activities
• Seek professional help if you experience severe mental health issues

Important: Intent is not a medical device or healthcare service. Our AI insights and coaching services are for educational and wellness purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or severe emotional distress, please contact emergency services or a mental health professional immediately.

Intent operates on a token-based system:

• Free tier includes limited diagnoses and basic insights
• Additional tokens can be purchased for more features
• Coach sessions are priced separately and vary by coach
• All payments are processed securely through third-party providers
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

All content, features, and functionality of Intent, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, AI algorithms, and software, are owned by Intent and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your personal emotional data but grant Intent a license to use it for providing and improving our services.

Intent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to Intent in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service, to understand our practices regarding your personal information.

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your emotional data and personal information.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the app. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately, but your data retention rights as outlined in our Privacy Policy will remain in effect.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
